OUR TEAM

  • Lorie is the Owner of the COTD Softball House and President of Church on the Dirt, a non-profit organization bringing chaplain services, devotionals, and the love of Christ to the dirt where many families are unable to attend church because of competitive sports. Lorie has ten years of select softball experience with the Corona Angels Organization and the former Division II Head Coach at Biola University for the past nine years. Softball, ministry, and leadership development are Coleman's passions and she is looking forward to bringing these same principles as she begins to build the sport and spread the Gospel through the game in San Antonio, Texas.

  • After competing professionally since 2015, Janie is taking the year off of softball to focus on her family and traveling with her husband, Jake, while he plays professional baseball. She began working with RISR last fall, an up and coming softball app that gives virtual hitting and mental training instruction and the two live in San Diego in the offseason where they attend The Hill Church and have loved being planted in a community of believers. She also volunteers as an athlete representative on the board of directors for USA Softball.

  • After spending the last few years training full time for the Olympics, Michelle is living in Jacksonville, Florida and continuing to play professionally with Team USA this summer. She serves as the athlete representative and works on the business and policy side of sport. She works softball camps throughout the year sharing her knowledge of the game with young athletes and her latest hobbies are learning guitar, gardening, and reading. One of her favorite verses in this season of life is Psalm 23:1 "The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing" It just reminds me of the peace of God's presence as He leads and provides.

God writes the best stories.

We are so thankful He has written each of ours so uniquely and for His glory. Below are short updates about where we find ourselves today, but we wish we could sit across from each of you in a coffee shop and share everything - the ups and the downs, twists and turns, the suffering and the joys.

One thing is for certain, we would each tell you how He has been with us every step of the way.

  • Aubree has competed on the national team since 2016 and after competing in the 2020 Olympics she decided to retire in February of this year. Aubree lives in Florida with her husband, Gordon, and their dog Ripp. They love being on the boat in their spare time as Gordon is a charter fisherman and Aubree has enjoyed devoting her time to her local house, Venture Church as the youth director. Aubree is still around the game through camps and clinics and enjoying this new season and chapter of life.
